Lummax HB100 - 100W LED E40 High Output Commercial Replacement Highbay Globe 240V 5500K

The HB100 LED Globe from Lummax is a specially designed retrofit globe to be used with older Mercury Vapour, Metal Halide and High Pressure Sodium Highbays with an E40 base. With an operating voltage of 100-277V, this extreme LED globe will work using the same control gear of the Mercury Vapour Highbay, therefore no need for rewiring or bypassing the control gear. For Metal Halide Highbays, the ignitor must be bypassed, which will require electrical reworking by a licensed electrician. For High Pressure Sodium Highbays, both the ballast and ignitor must be bypassed, which will also require electrical reworking by a licensed electrician. HB100 LED Globe is an ideal solution as a substitute for the conventional and older style elliptical globes that may not even be readily available, costly and short in lifespan. These globes are constructed from an aluminium heat sink, with a built in active cooling system to allow the globe to operate at an acceptable operating temperature. Not suitable for dimming.
